Hi Sangha,
In an interesting turn of events, the retreat that Drupon was to
attend in Rochester was cancelled. He will stay in Chicago for now
and due to a number of sangha members with health problems (!?!) has
offered to give the empowerment for the Medicine Buddha (Tib: Sangye
Menla) practice. Apologies for the last minute nature of this notice,
but what a great blessing.
If you do not have this practice or this empowerment, I highly
recommend it. It is a simple, very precise practice that not only
brings focus to relief of physical problems, but has a very soothing
and sharpening effect on one's mind. Very crisp.
