Thank you for coming to TIBETcenter Benefit Performance at Saturday, July 28 at Harris Theater in Millennium Park. As we mentioned on a few occasions, this is our first single largest event in eight years, and support in this front is especially appreciated.

Many are keen to know how much it costs to do a program of this scale at Harris Theater. We are waiting for Labor Union charges, and ticket sales amount from Harris Theater. We will soon post the details under Reports on http://www.TIBETexhibition.org

We are pleased to inform you that Tibetan Cultural Center in Bloomington, Indiana has gratefully acknowledged receipt of $614.50, being the surplus of donations raised to donate teaching tickets to the needy Buddhists at Harris Theater on May 6. The surplus amount sent to Tibetan Cultural Center is to be used to help needy Buddhists when His Holiness the Dalai Lama gives teaching there in October.

We thank the five members of the Ticket Donating Committee (Pat Bicket, Dianne Hoffman, Cynthia Cycon, Suellen Semekoski, and Joanne Needham) for planning, sending announcements to the Buddhist centers in the Chicago area, donating tickets to the needy Tibetans and Buddhists, thanking the donors, and remitting the surplus to Tibetan Cultural Center in Bloomington, Indiana.

8 Teaching tickets were donated to the Tibetan Elders in Chicago, 2 to Shambhala Meditation Center, 2 to Buddhist Council of the Midwest, and 1 to Karma Theksum Choeling Center.
