Dzogchen and Amitabha Teachings with Lamchen Gyalpo Rinpoche



Lamchen Gyalpo Rinpoche was born in the north of Kham, Tibet. Rinpoche was recognized by the 34th Cyalwa Drikungpa as the reincarnation of Chogtul trinley Gyatso, the head of Ka Tashi monastery. He had been amply prophesised and has a well documented series of incarnations going back to 1084 C.E.: Vajrapani at the time of Buddha Sakyamuni; King Trisong Deutsen’s daughter, Lhachik Pemasel at the time of Guru Padmasambhava; and Nanam Dorje Dujom among others. He has received oral transmissions and empowerments from H H 16th Karmpapa, Zigar Kongtrul, H H Dilgo Khyentse, H H Sakya Trizin, H H Sakya Dagchen Rinpoche, Luding Rinpoche, Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, and others.


August 31, Friday, 7 P.M.- Yangzab Dzogchen

This is a Padmasambhava on Dzogchen transmitted by the Drikung Kagyu lineage. Dzogchen (the great completion) is the most refined of all the Tibetan teachings and mantras.

This empowerment is a foundation for the practice of the Yangzab Dzogchen. Amithaba is the Buddha of infinite light and the source of Avalokiteshvara and Padmasambhava (who is the source of this lineage).
