Some people have been surprised by the requested donation for the Kalachakra Teachings with Garchen Rinpoche. We didn't mean to alarm anyone and we certainly didn't intend to inflict hardship on anyone, particularly given the current economic circumstances. Unfortunately, I'm sure you can imagine, expenses haven't shrunk to meet the situation.
But... to try to ease the burden a bit, we are lowering the requested donation for the 3 Kalachakra event days. The requested donation will now be $220, $65 for Friday, $90 for the empowerment on Saturday and $65 for Sunday's teachings. We hope that helps a bit.
Hopefully you are aware that the suggested donation is never an admittance price. If you would like to attend, but are unable to make the donation, we encourage you to attend and offer what you can to support the teachers and the valuable gift they offer to you.
