Despite a lot of effort by a number of people, the events we hoped to sponsor to revolve around the release of the Milarepa movie didn't work out. Unfortunate.
But, please be sure to see the movie anyway. I don't know how it would strike non-practitioners, but I found it very engaging. Even if you've read Mila's biography a number of times, it still gives a lot to think about. Its also a fascinating culture jolt.

One note, though. This is only the first half of the story. I didn't find that out until I was on my way to the theatre. Milarepa doesn't get to meet Marpa until the second part is released in 2009! Dang!
