Here are a couple requests for those of you planning to attend the Achi retreat at the end of the month.
The first is from Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche and Drupon Thinley Ninpo Rinpoche:
People will be allowed to come and go from the retreat center, but if would be more beneficial for everyone to remain at the retreat center for this drubchung; not only will this retreat be beneficial for individuals participating, but it will be beneficial to our sangha, our community and all living beings; therefore the more people who remain and participate as much as possible, the better.
The second request is from Diane and myself:
A number of people had spoken with Rinpoche or Diane requesting their desire that we hold an Achi retreat. Now that it is set and we have the added blessing of the guidance of two of the most important and highly realized Drupons in our lineage, we want to insure that it will come together in a way that will provide the most benefit to everyone.
As we will have a limited number of rooms available for this retreat, please register as soon as possible rather than waiting. This would be of immense help! Not having attendance details settled until the last minute, puts a big strain on our very limited resources and our volunteer help. Thanks for your understanding and your participation.
As a reminder, questions can be answered through this email or by calling me at 312.933.6824.

We will open and close the practice as advised by the Rinpoches and will keep the mantra going round the clock until we close the practice final on Sunday.

The Rinpoches will allow people to come and go from the retreat as long as they are there when the empowerment is given on Friday night, or have already had the full empowerment.
