Norbu Samphel, our precious translator and sangha member, is planning the following event!!!


What:

Zamling Che-Sang - Universal Sang Offering Day

This is a traditional celebration day in the Tibetan Calendar. Norbu is offering this day's (fire) puja for World Peace.


When:

June 30, 2007

10:00 AM: Assemble, meet and greet (self-introduction), proceed to the lakefront.
10:30 - 11:00 AM: Introduction of the day, followed by sitting, silent meditation.
11:00 - 11:45: Chanting of Guru Rinpoche Prayers for world peace.
11:45 - 12:15 PM Incense (Fire Puja) burning. Tsampa offering with more prayers for world peace.
12:15 - 12:30 Dedication
12:30 PM Sit, stand, eat (picnic potluck), chat, and enjoy :-) If you can't stay for the picnic, that is fine!!


Where:

Please meet at the Dominick's Grocery Store at Foster and Sheridan Road. The group will then go together to the lakefront.
